Sports Massage
Sports massage is a deep form of soft tissue mobilisation. It can be applied in a sporting and non-sporting context (pre & post sports massage) as well as prior to or after exercise . However it is definitely not limited to athletes only!
Techniques include effleurage, kneading, wringing, hacking and certain trigger point therapy. It can be used for general relaxation or recovery, as well as to relieve pain, aches or injury caused from repetitive and strenuous physical activity and trauma (anything from sport to long hours in the working environment). The remedial effects of sports massage work well alongside physiotherapy, osteopathy or chiropractic services.

Aromatherapy
Aromatherapy massage is similar to a Swedish massage, however the treatment involves the use of essential oils. Deep tissue massage uses firm pressure and slow strokes to reach deeper layers of muscle and fascia. (A stronger version of a Swedish massage). It is a treatment used for anyone wanting to relieve aches and pains, as well as tight built up areas such as a stiff neck/upper back pain. Techniques usually include using fingertips, knuckles, hands, elbows, and forearms.

Swedish Massage

This massage treatment involves using long softer strokes over the more delicate parts of the body and stronger strokes over thicker muscles. The pressure can vary depending on preference however this type of massage is perfect for relaxation.
